Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and be knowledgeable in various aspects of dental hygiene, for a general dentist. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and promoting oral health.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and review medical histories, including vital signs, to ensure patient safety.
- Conduct medical imaging procedures as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
